Social Justice Writer
Driven by social justice and a desire to affect change, Lindsey Rosenbaum joins Equal Justice Under Law as the Social Justice Writer for Media and Grants.
Lindsey comes from the world of healthcare philanthropy, where she began her career working in the Major Gifts team at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. With a strong proclivity for writing and keen eye for editing, Lindsey was instrumental in the creation of reports, proposals, and became the main voice for all communications on her team. She had many notable successes in her role, including leading the Employee Giving Campaign for the Nursing staff and doubling their philanthropic impact.
Before moving to Washington, DC, Lindsey studied at North Carolina State University, earning dual degrees in International Studies (Middle East) and English Literature. While at school she also studied abroad in London, England, and worked for Children and Families Across Borders, an international social work organization based there.
When she’s not working or organizing and fundraising with a local chapter of progressive Jewish activists, Lindsey can be found running 5ks or cooking all manner of recipes (and ruining her kitchen in the process).
