Communications and Development Officer
Driven by social justice and a desire to affect change, Lindsey Rosenbaum combines storytelling and philanthropy as tools of activism as the Communications and Development Officer at Equal Justice Under Law.
Lindsey comes from the world of healthcare philanthropy, where she began her career working in the Major Gifts team at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. There, she experienced the power of what dedicated philanthropy can do to lift up a community, and how individual’s stories can change a nationwide narrative.
Before moving to Washington, DC, Lindsey studied at North Carolina State University, earning dual degrees in International Studies (Middle East) and English Literature. While at school she also studied abroad in London, England, and worked for Children and Families Across Borders, an international social work organization. Lindsey is also certified in resource development from the University of Wisconsin’s School of Business, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.
When she’s not working or organizing with a local chapter of progressive Jewish activists, Lindsey can be found running 5ks or cooking all manner of recipes (and ruining her kitchen in the process).
