Internships
Equal Justice Under Law offers competitive law student volunteer internship positions in Washington, D.C. each academic semester, including the summer. These positions are volunteer (without compensation) but may be used for work-study credit.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
An internship at Equal Justice Under Law is a unique experience and bestows an incredibly high degree of responsibility on interns. Interns often research caselaw, develop legal analysis, draft memos, and draft briefs. Occasionally, interns interview clients, witnesses, or potential clients. Interns are also invited to observe court proceedings where possible (especially if done by telephonic appearance).
