Mary graduated with honors from the Political Philosophy, Policy, and Law program at the University of Virginia. During her time at UVA, Mary co-founded the Undergraduate Women in Law organization, coached public forum debate at local middle schools, volunteered as a hotline operator at Charlottesville’s Shelter for Help in Emergency, served on the Student Legal Services Advisory Board, and was a proud resident of 51 West Lawn.
Prior to Equal Justice Under Law, Mary worked at Fayez, Goriup, McRae, where she assisted primarily with child custody cases. Most recently, she provided legal support for incarcerated clients at The Law Office of Deborah M. Golden. She is excited to continue working towards better justice with Equal Justice Under Law.
